Salsa Verde Chicken Bake

INGREDIENTS:

4 Boneless skinless Chicken Breast
1 jar
4 oz
1/2 cup
Wine Country Kitchens Salsa Verde
Monterey Jack and/or Pepper Jack Cheese (grated)
Chopped fresh Cilantro (optional)
 
 
Preheat oven to 350°F.
 
Cut Chicken Breast in half. Place chicken in 8x8 casserole baking dish.
 

Cover the chicken with Wine Country Kitchens Salsa Verde. Place in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until internal temperate is 150°F. Remove from oven and increase temperature to 400°F.

 
Sprinkle cheese over the chicken and return to the oven for 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Remove from oven. Serve immediately. Spoon over cooked rice. Sprinkle with chopped fresh cilantro. Serve with tortilla chips for crunch if you would like.
